Architectural Project Manager

Architectural Project Manager who is flexible, well-rounded and dedicated to outstanding client service is being recruited by the El Dorado Hills office of one of the nation's largest and most respected residential architecture and planning firms. This opportunity is ideal for a project manager who can perform autonomously and enjoys a varied and high-energy workplace.

Well-established in the Northern California region, this award-winning firm specializes in the design and planning of single- and multi-family housing and communities for a prominent merchant builder clientele.  The firm has successfully served this market for more than 30 years and currently employs about 150 professionals in nine offices across the U.S.

The Project Manager will coordinate four to six projects at a time working closely with clients from beginning to end.  Responsibilities will include initial client consultations, contract review and negotiations, quality control of design and documentation, and fieldwork.  The ability to ensure implementation of design intent and work effectively with clients, subconsultants and staff is required. Knowledge of current residential building codes and design trends is desired. 

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience as a project manager handling large or multiple projects.  Background in the residential builder market and a degree in architecture or related field are desired. Knowledge of AutoCAD, good communication skills and a genuine interest in residential architecture are essential.
