Senior Traffic Engineer

This Southern California consulting engineering firm is looking for the next strong leader to guide both the technical and management efforts of its traffic engineering and transportation planning group in its Orange, CA office. The firm, established in 1957, with more than 100 employees also has the advantage of being part of a major international, multi-disciplined engineering conglomerate.

The Senior Traffic Engineer will drive business development and project management activities and mentor junior staff members. This person will be the lead on projects that may include traffic and transportation planning, aviation projects, access and lighting design, and traffic flow studies.

Qualifications include a BSCE or similar education, registration as a civil or traffic engineer, and 10 years of traffic and transportation engineering experience with at least three years of successful business development and staff management achievements. Superior communication and relationship building skills ensure this person's success.
