Senior Healthcare Architect, LondonThis is an incredible opportunity to be at the top level of one of the most respected firms in the architectural industry. A senior architect who has solid experience working with complex healthcare projects is being recruited for an outstanding international architecture practice providing academic, research, and healthcare design and planning. The firm is looking for a senior architect who is exceptionally skilled in the areas of marketing, client management, team leadership, strategic thinking and conceptual design. The position is located in the firm's 50-person London, England office, which is currently designing the first privately developed healthcare complex in the United Kingdom. This project is the firm's largest undertaking to date and was awarded to the firm as a result of winning an international design competition. The Senior Healthcare Architect will lead a 12- to 20-person studio, actively market healthcare projects, maintain a high profile among existing and potential clients, play a key role in establishing design direction, and provide meaningful leadership to the studio team. This individual will participate in design review sessions and maintain a targeted utilization rate. Qualified candidates will possess a B. Arch, at least 15 years of experience, and current architectural registration or certification. Demonstrated success in quality healthcare design, marketing architectural services, establishing strong client relationships and managing teams as well as projects are required. Experience as a leader in a large, national, well-respected architectural practice is desired. Experience with international and academic medical centers is a plus.
