Residential Architect
An exciting opportunity for a budding architect to join the newest branch office of a successful architecture, planning and research and interior design firm now exists in Orlando, FL. Well-known as a leader in the design and planning of TNDs and Smart Growth, this firm is recruiting intern level architects to work on single and multi-family projects, including town architecture for Celebration. This is a chance to grow with an exceptional group of professionals and work with a nationally acclaimed and published firm contributing to New Urban projects of various scale and type in 25 states and Canada. The firm's focus is placemaking and involves mixed uses ranging from retail, corporate, commercial, hospitality and single and multi-family residential project types. The Residential Project Architect must possess direct experience working on residential projects and demonstrate strong interest in continuing in residential architecture. Successful candidates will exhibit personal initiative, attention to detail and the desire to grow professionally. Qualified candidates will have 3 to 5 years experience and be capable of producing construction documents using AutoCAD. The ability to work independently within a team context, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a high-energy environment is key. A B. Arch. is required. Familiarity with New Urbanism and professional potential for project management and client relationship management is desired.
